Cabin Rental Policies

• A 6% sales tax and a 6% hotel/motel tax is added to the above rates.
• Cabins are rented from Monday to Monday for one to two week periods (second Monday in June to Labor Day).
• Before and after the summer season there is a 2-night minimum for weekends and a 3-night minimum for holiday weekends.
• Reservations can be made up to one year in advance (from the first day of the month)
• Check-in time is 4 p.m. and checkout time is 10 a.m.
• Dogs and cats are permitted in a limited number of cabins, call for reservations with pets.
• No one under 18 may reserve a cabin. There must be a responsible adult registered in a cabin where minors are staying.
• Reservations made for three nights or less must be paid in full at the time reservations are made. Reservations made for four nights or longer require one-half total payment in advance and the remainder paid upon arrival.
• No tents are allowed in cabin area.
• Rates are subject to change.
• All major credit cards accepted.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to rent cabins.
• Week nights are Monday through Thursday and any Sunday which does not fall before a holiday Monday
• Weekend nights are Friday and Saturday and any Sunday which falls before a holiday Monday

Senior Discounts

Senior citizen discounts are available for persons over 60 years of age. Proof of age may be requested at check-in. This discount applies only to cabins rented and occupied by eligible senior citizens.

No one under 18 may reserve a cabin. There must be a responsible adult registered in a cabin where minors are staying.

Reservations made for three nights or less must be paid in full at the time reservations are made. Reservations made for four nights or longer require one-half total payment in advance and the remainder paid upon arrival.

Must Be 60 years old to be eligible for the senior citizens discount.
10% discount given with proof of age.
WV residents 62 years of age are entitled to a 50% discount on camping rates from the day after
Labor Day to four days prior to Memorial Day.

Campsite Reservations

Campsite numbers will not be guaranteed; however, every effort will be made to assign the campsite requested.

Only one camping unit per site is permitted. The camping reservation season begins the Friday before Memorial Day and ends Labor Day. Only mail-in reservations will be accepted from February 15 through March 14. Mail-in reservations must be postmarked on or after February 15, or they will be returned. A maximum of three reservation forms per envelope will be accepted. If an envelope is received with more than three reservation forms all reservation forms will be returned. Call-in requests during the period of February 15 through March 14 will be sent blank reservation forms and instructed to mail the completed forms back to the park. Beginning March 15, phone reservations will be accepted between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm by calling the park office or 1-800-CALL WVA. Beginning April 1, walk-in reservation forms will be accepted from April 1 through the Labor Day weekend.

Reserved campsites that are accessible to persons with disabilities will be held for such individuals to reserve from February 15 through March 14. Proof of disability must accompany the deposit, and the site must be occupied during the reservation period by the disabled individual for the reservation to be honored. Beginning March 15, the sites will become available for all rentals. All other current reservations procedures besides those describe above will remain the same.

All Rates Subject to Change.

A minimum of two nights, up to a maximum of 14 nights, are required when making a reservation. If a reservation is canceled more than seven days in advance, the deposit will be refunded, with the exception of the handling fee plus first night of rental. If canceled seven days or less in advance, no refund will be given.
