Things to Do
Game Court and Recreation Building
Located near the swimming pool, this area features tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, croquet, badminton, volleyball, horseshoes and ping pong, all at a nominal fee. Playground equipment is also provided here as well as in both campground areas.
Swimming
The outdoor swimming pool with solar heating at Watoga is open on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, beginning Memorial Day Saturday until Labor Day weekend. The pool will open mid-week from June 11 through August 12, except for Monday and Tuesday with hours of operation from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Overnight cabin rental fees include the use of the swimming pool. There is a minimal fee of $3.00 for swimmers 12 and over and $2.00 for individuals under 12 years of age.
Naturalist Program
A seasonal naturalist plans and conducts activities to help familiarize guests with the flora and fauna the park. This program consists of slide shows, hikes, athletic events, campfires and other activities to acquaint guests not only with Watoga, but other visitors as well. Naturalist programs are offered during the summer season.
Boating
Paddle or row boat rentals are available at Watoga's 11 acre lake. Relax on a paddle boat or do some fishing.

A variety of other activities are available including fishing on the nearbyGreenbrier River or hiking on the Greenbrier River Trail. Hunting opportunities abound at nearby state and national forests.
