Summer Activities & Programs
Summer activities are scheduled from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. Naturalist Julie McQuade plans and conducts hikes, youth activities, games and recreation. Schedules very each week and available upon arrival to Watoga and posted throughout the park. "Be Bear Aware" is every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.

Did you know that most visitors to Watoga State Park see a bear? Come by the Recreation Hall to meet with the Naturalist to find out how to be safe in bear country and how you can help keep the bears safe from humans. Then we’ll make posters to display in the Recreation Hall to help educate others.
